School

We’ve changed our name!
Introducing:

Options for Learning

(formerly Options—A Child Care
and Human Services Agency)
Our new name tells our story better.
It tells parents and our community more about what you do every day for the children at Options for Learning. Whether you’ve been here for three days or three decades, your commitment has paid off. Because of your efforts, Options for Learning is able to provide enviably high quality family services, educational child care, preschool, and after school programs.
It may take time for people (some of us, too!) to get used to saying “Options for Learning.” And along with our new name, our logo has changed and we have a new website: optionsforlearning.org

WILL YOU TALK TO PARENTS AND
HELP EXPLAIN OUR NEW NAME AND WEBSITE?
We want to keep growing as an organization. The more people who understand who we are and what we do, the better we can keep serving our communities. Your help is appreciated.
Thank you for your effort and enthusiasm,

High School

At La Salle High School of Pasadena, we honor this mission in our simple, but profound effort to produce good students and good people through a comprehensive college preparatory education. By comprehensive I mean that, at La Salle, each student will find his or her own niche inside the classroom and out. With over 20 varsity teams, an outstanding – and award winning – Visual and Performing Arts program, and a wide array of co-curricular activities, every student entrusted to our care can find a way to nurture their unique attributes.  All of this is accomplished in a community environment in which the most common adjective used to describe life at La Salle is the word “family.”

Arts: Maranatha’s Arts Department provides its students a comprehensive, vibrant visual and performing arts education.  Drama, dance, choir, and orchestra students have the privilege to explore their creative nature under the tutelage of accomplished instructors and perform in the renowned Ambassador Auditorium, “The Carnegie Hall of the West”.  The highly accomplished and respected visual arts faculty offers each student a thorough arts experience in the school’s art classrooms, photo studio/lab, and Mac Lab.  Maranatha artists win national awards annually and are often recognized across the valley before continuing their arts education at schools such as Rhode Island School of Design, Art Center College of Design, and California Institute of the Arts.

Come over this year for our Annual Open House in November, a campus tour, or an athletic event.  When you arrive you will experience our amazing, spirit-filled community and you will come to know “The Maranatha Difference”.
