ASSEMBLYMEMBER CHAU TO DISCUSS NEW LAWS TAKING EFFECT IN JANUARY
MONTEREY PARK – Assemblymember Ed Chau (D-Monterey Park) will hold a press conference to discuss the bills in his 2017 Legislative Package that will become new laws effective January 1, 2018. Assemblymember Chau will highlight the work he has done to assist businesses dealing with frivolous lawsuits, to increase protections for school children from sexual offenses, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by establishing targets for California to purchase zero-emission trucks and buses, and to safeguard the privacy rights of sexual and domestic violence victims.
