Haircuts can be a scary thing for youngsters, but not at Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids. At Cookie Cutters haircuts are fun! The newest location of Cookie Cutters officially opened on Saturday, November 4th, and the Arcadia Chamber celebrated this with a ribbon cutting on Monday, November 6th. Representative Maile Plan from Congresswoman Judy Chu’s office was on hand to present a certificate, along with Debra Mendelsohn from Supervisor Kathryn Barger’s office, Mayor Pro Tem of Arcadia Sho Tay, and Vicki Knight, immediate past President of the Chamber also gave a certificate.
Everything about Cookie Cutters caters to the kids. When one walks in, one finds a playground, complete with slide, and instead of standard barber chairs, there are cars and an airplane to sit in (they say the fire truck is the most popular!). For those who want to sit on an adult’s lap, there is one barber chair, or adults can get a haircut too! A larger fire truck hides the hair wash station, so kids can have some privacy, which staff hopes makes the children feel less afraid.
Stylists are specially trained for those with special needs, and they will work to make sure each child is comfortable. Discover at Cookie Cutters how fun a haircut can be!
